I have one of those and tried this before.

Its a disaster. The whites get tangled in the whisk and it doesn't work. It's just not powerful enough.

From my experience, you need a more powerful stand mixer. (but mine wasn't a branded aerolatte, mine has no marking on it and may have been purchased at the dollar store for all i know - the previous owner of the house left it here)

Also, I have made what op made and I didn't think it was worth it. Worth it once for the novelty, but won't be doing again.
