What is an appropriate rate to lose weight at? I have been doing keto and I am literally waking up 0.5lb lighter every day.
You're losing water weight, don't worry about it.
But for the record, 2lbs a week is considered as high as you want to go NOT counting water weight.

1 kg/week at max, you can do 2-3kg the first week, otherwise you can harm your liver because your body stores poison* in fat cells

2lbs a week is a good rate.
Cardio + Keto makes that easily attainable

I don't think so man. I've been doing this for two weeks now. I doubt it's water weight. My glycogen and all the water that went with it have long been depleted.

You are like, 99% water. You haven't run out of water weight to lose.
if u want to lose weight, eat bean dishes and bread. abstain from fat.

1-2 lbs or 0.5-1kg per week. There are 3500 calories in a pound of bodyfat. Losing 1 lb per week is a 500 calorie per day deficit. Good luch with your weightloss, anon.
Current weight? How long have you been doing it?
If you're just starting, it's probably mostly water weight.
2lbs/week is generally the recommended amount for weight loss.

As others have said, don't go above 2lbs per week. If you're doing more than that, you're either drinking too little water, or you're hard-cutting calories which will force your body into starvation mode, which will slow your metabolism down further as the body thinks there's no food and it's trying to keep you alive.
Any
Keep in mind, your skin takes FOREVER to shrink. So if you maintain this rate of fat loss, you will likely be wearing your melted stomach flesh as a kilt by the end of it and slapping people in the face with your arm-wing-flaps.
There are many good reasons to take weight loss slow and steady.
