The goal is to make something someone good, but not super weeabooish.
Any ideas on making this ramen shit taste better?

Use as little water as possible.
In fact, cook everything in a frying pan. Once you've cooked your onion/carrot/chicken(presumably), fill the frying pan with (some) water and add the noodles (you can break the noodles in half lengthways to make it cook quicker)
Ideally, most of the water should evaporate/absorb, leaving you without a massive soupy broth at the bottom. It's way better.
Also, add mushrooms if you have any. Mushrooms and chopped bacon.

Pic in OP is a good start. I just chop up some onion and garlic and saute them in butter, add chilli's, thinly sliced carrots and the water. Boil, add noodles and packet and broccoli.

This. Stir fry them noodles with the veggies you've got. And add the secret ingredient...Spam
Sautee the onions and garlic. Add the chicken, cubed or strips w/e and cook till done. Start water boiling. When boiling add noodles, cut up veggies, and the meat sautee stuff. Let it cook for a bit, probably till the carrots are done.
>not weaboo
Don't use instant noodle for starter

This challenge has no win.
too starchy and not fit for human consumption.
if you have to eat it, boil the ramen and drain it separately from the broth. this will keep the broth from tasting like crap.
Made this last night minus chicken, and boiled the noodles directly in the broth.
Sautée the onions and garlic. Then fry the meat (chopped into small-ish pieces).
After that, boil the carrot and peas, and throw in the meat into the water. Before serving, let the noodles get cooked along with everything else.
By the way, if you've got some mushrooms or kale, throw that in, too.
Better yet, use pasta instead of instant ramen noodles, and make your own stock instead of using the MSG and salt-laden seasoning packet.
