Someone please riddle me this. Should I buy peanut butter made in China or not?
We just started getting peanut butter in stores, like a year or two ago and it used to be USA-made exclusively but today I grabbed a jar and it said China and I kinda sperged out and put it down.

It depends on the food, for example most Chinese tea is safe, and most Chinese rice is not safe. Where it's grown (proximity to industrial areas) and what it is (some foods tend to accumulate bad shit, others don't) make all the difference

But China is the 4th largest country in the world by surface area, while it's reasonable to be suspicious given their recent history, there is a big difference between "suspicious" and "superstitious". You seem to be an example of the latter.

I am addicted to low fat peanut butter. I went shopping and my brother wanted peanut butter, I just grabbed one because I didn't give a shit, but he wouldn't eat it so I took it home.

I don't know what it is but it's easily twice as good as regular peanut butter. Every time I preach this, someone says they put extra sugar in it to counteract the taste difference but there's actually a gram less. Just try it.
