Lul, I wanna die anon. Live fast have fun. Rather die before 50/60 if I can help it. Nothing more depressing than some 80+ year old living off a diet of pills and some machines.
Murdaland Crab Cakes
Shrimp Scampi
2 Hawaiian Rolls
About $30 worth of shellfish

You marland bro? Why not move a couple miles north out of that hell hole into glorious tax free Delaware?
Nothing special. Cheeseburger and chips.
went out to my local and had roasted cauliflower and quinoa fritters with charred baby bok choy, turmeric labneh & harissa.
=(

Carolinas. had an ex from Annapolis that would make crabcakes and fried flounder/catfish/trout on Friday nights like a good Catholic girl.
Secret is to bake, not fry.

Cool shit dude I used to live around there.
Still miss Bojangles.and wholesome southern values.

Why do I always see someone order two pizza for himself? I can't even finish half a pizza alone.
Yeah...
Got a piece of filet steak on the griddle.
>>8841541
You wash/wipe your hands before touching your controller right Anon?
It wasn't spicy enough. I could have added sriracha, sriracha is more garlic than spicyness and would have ruined the soup though.
>>8841628
Well.. at least you aren't an armpitfag.
>>8841503
MAybe someone who is 50 or 60 living off of pills and machines is more depressing than someone 80+. I don't get this "I want to die younger" meme, does no one realize that you aren't going to have a good quality of life if you don't take care of yourself? Your body will still shut down as you die, just much sooner.
>>8842901
Money shot.
The pepper and herb crust was great.
>>8843113
You don't get it. If you die at 55 from a heart attack cuz you ate deep fried grilled cheese it's better than living those last 30-40 depressing years with a slow drawn out death as your body literally rots around you.
Sure you lived longer but did you really LIVE?
>>8841541
i can feel your greasy controller through the screen, jesus
>>8841555
Looks great, anon
For me, it's a pure glass of water.

So do you never enjoy yourself through food ever?
Home made fish and chips man.

>mfw millennials think 60+ yos just sit around waiting to die all day
For people supposed to be "in the loop" you sure are completely behind the times. Old people are more active now then they ever have been and this is probably only going to increase as you grow old.
Enjoy your "I hope I die before I get old" spiel pretending like it's anything new.
>>8843842
kids from shitty working class families think it's normal to just blink out of existence some time between 40 and 50 because everyone around them treats their body like shit and drives drunk and stuff
they don't know the difference between ages and so for them, 60 is just "some time in the extreme future that doesn't matter" and everyone they know over 30 is morbidly obese
>>8843151
How is that a fillet? Its just mincemeat by the looks of it
>>8843818

All this pen up rage just cuz I wanna eat fried food and drive fast rake risks and have a fun life?
New flash. Oil lubricates engines to decrease friction. Oil is in my food. All that's doing is lubing up my intestines and lowering friction on my heart so I'm actually more healthy than you fruit dummies.
>>8843962
>people are cars
>>8843982

I'm not saying to drink engine oil dumb dumb. But you gotta deep fry food in people oil to make your people parts lubed up the same way that engines are.
It's like a metaphor or an analogy, or allegory, or a metonomy maybe even a little personification.

Minted lamb kebabs.
Midget trees.
Grilled asparagus.
Sweet potatoes mash with peas.
Fuck macros. Seriously, with the whiskey I'm drinking now. That meal was pointless. Tastes good though, i needed to make a sauce with it though. Oh well.
>>8848782
That looks damn fine. Do you enjoy gyros? Had one before? I adore a lamb gyro.
>>8848792
Had a few but always when shitfaced so I can't really say I appreciated them at the time.
Making my own Tzatziki can't be that hard, can it?
>>8848822
I tried and failed before. I'd say go heavy on herbs.
Damn I want a gyro right now this steak shop near me has the bomb ass lamb gyros...
>>8841489
Made this last night, not sure what I am going to eat tonight. I hate being poor.

Did a chicken parmesan with a home made chunky tomato sauce. Instead of noodles I used a peeler to slice zucchini and squash thin, tossed in salt and pepper, and cooked in oil for awhile on a low heat, then added to the simmering sauce.
Came out great! Glad I got fresh bay leaves and basil for this.
>>8849792
On the side I tried a couple slices of an oatmeal raisin loaf I baked today. Came out soft, not great for sandwiches but as a side it's a real nice flavor. Very moist. Makes me wonder if I should've baked another 5 minutes but it seems cooked through.
Added the raisins after hand kneading for 9 minutes and just sorta folded them in. Not the best way to disperse them but they're spread out okay enough I think. Anyone have better ideas for adding fruit/nuts to dough?
>>8849811
Dessert was the banana cake with peanut butter cream cheese frosting I posted in the peanut butter thread.
>>8849811
>putting adjuncts like fruit and vegetables in your bread
When did a lightbulb pop over your head and you thought that would improve bread, fgs?
>>8849853
I like raisins, and I like bread. Seems like it's not a stretch to combine them! I can see how some people wouldn't like it though.

Is that fuckin salt pork/bacon mixed in with the taters?
>>8841498

>>8843040
fugg that looks good. Love me some pho.
>>8850274
Not him, but don't you think it might possibly be your plating that led to someone drawing that conclusion? I mean I it's pretty difficult from the pic to conclude it's potato skins. The first guess would obviously be that it's some meat derivative.
This is what's wrong with the world. People think that a true perception of their activities is somehow an insult. Therefore no one ever gets better.
>>8841494
why are you assuming he used salted butter
>>8850575
If you're retarded that might be your first guess yeah.
Just made pavlova for the first time! Need to spread the meringue more evenly because one side was a bit higher than the other but it came out pretty good.
Never made a meringue in general, I can't believe how huge egg whites get when beaten.
Also didn't realize how long it would take to cool in the oven. This is definitely better made at night for the next day.
>>8852657
nice, i'd say add way more fruit but that's my preference
>>8852695
I actually would have, but I've been sitting on this recipe for too long and most of my raspberries started molding. Fuck.
Anyway I picked off all the fruit and moved it onto the four slices we actually ate, then threw the rest of the cake away since it doesn't keep worth a damn.
.
>>8852657
You'd be amazed how big my white eggs get when I beat them.
>>8852657
Pavlova guy here again, also tried making a lemon cake. Really enjoyed how this came out, but if I did it again I'd skewer some deep holes throughout the top before I lay on the syrup soak. Only used a fork and you can tell inside the slice where the syrup stopped dripping down.
Other than that, tasty. I like the glaze (lemon juice + powder sugar) a lot.
Big bump
My dinner was literally just some mashed potatoes, followed by large curd cottage cheese with honey. I (internally) called it "the white dinner".
Ribeye, white rice, miso soup, dog n suds
