I know what you mean. When I go to other asian groceries (korean, thai, japanese and even the fucking chinks) they are very kind and helpful. Indian? Surly and completely uncommunicative. Since I get along fine in all the other ethnic groceries, I have a hard time believing it's me.

this shit is what makes me feel grateful for having a foodmaxx nearby that has a large section dedicated to import indian produce, product, and spice. It might not be the best quality but at least i'm not being ripped off or shamed for being white and liking spices.
