Are you a regular anywhere? Do you get the same thing usually?

In the last two months I've become a regular at my favorite hole in the wall mexican restaurant in walking distance from my apartment.

I go there probably about 2-3 times a week and get the same thing every time. As of late when I walk in, I smile and say hey, and they usually just ring up my order without me even saying anything.

At first it felt bad, but now it's kind of comfy. I usually tip a dollar or two every time and I get pretty nice portions too.

Me and my squad used to be at this burger place. We went there to drink beer tho mostly. But since our favoritt chef and waiter who we became friends with stoped working there we dont really go there anymore. Plus they removed our favoritt beer. But still hella cool place. Everyrime we went in the door they would start pouring the beer for us and everything

being a regular at places fucking rocks.

at my old job, most of my department would go out for lunch every monday. there was a little pizza/wings place with amazing food, but it took a while to cook. after a couple of trips there, they got into the habit of bringing our checks out when the food was served and would always offer to give us drinks to-go.

more recently, a buffalo wild wings opened here and was the only wings place we had nearby at the time. my dad loved going every tuesday evening. since they were brand new they made a big deal out of customer service and we would always ask for our favorite waitstaff, and one of them would put our drink orders in the moment she saw us walk through the door. all the good waitstaff is gone now and their service is mediocre, but it was cool while it lasted.

I have been a regular a mexican place just down the street from me, but as of late, the food's gone downhill, and the bartender is a complete jackass, so I won't be going there anymore. That's okay, though, there's tons of restaurants within walking distance of me, I just need to explore a little more and find another cool place.

If the staff at a restaurant notices me or recognizes me I never go back, at least not for 2-3 months.

I wish I was invisible.

I'm a regular at this bottle shop in town haha

Im so scared of falling into a rut that I order two sandwiches at a local shop. There is one I always order and then I choose one of three or four others.

The worst thing is I only go there once a month or less. They aren't going to remember me, I dont really gain anything.

I feel crazy and dont mind at all.

I have a Korean noodle place I get take out from every Friday with the only exception being the once or twice a year when we're traveling. I've been going there for about six or seven years now. I call, they see my name on the caller ID, they say "Hi Anon! The usual?" I say yep, and that's it.

The funny thing is, I don't get to eat any of it. The food is for my wife. I ate their food once way back and didn't care for it, and the food my wife gets smells bad.

Go to the pub every night. Just got back in actually. Same shit, every night. Cider and crisps, watch television, talk.

Honestly, I kind of hate being a regular at places but that is mostly because of my social anxiety. There is a good teriyaki place down the street from my office and I probably go there 2 or 3 times a month but the guy that works there is super friendly and likes to chat. Same thing happened at an Indian place I used to go to and eventually stopped going until it changed management. Now the food is way worse but at least they don't try to talk to me.
