Have you ever made kombucha at home?
Does it taste as good as store bought ones?
What instruction did you use to make it?
How long did you ferment it?

DO NOT MAKE IT
My grandmother used to make me drink it when I was a wee lad living in Russia. I vividly remember vomiting several times. Stay away.

Did she use distilled water to brew the tea?
I heard batch can be fucked up if the water has contaminants.
No one should ever drink kombucha, store bought or home made. It all tastes like putrid piss that's been sitting under the sun for a week. Looks like it too.

It's an acquired taste
>wanting to drink moldwater
My roommate is obsessed with this stuff. She makes a shitload and sells it on the side.
We drink "outdated' (more bitter) stock that gets rotated out. I drink almost 1 litre of the shit every day.
Very important to have clean, filtered water. Tap water is no good and will make it taste like shit. Run it through a real fine filter before drinking it, ferment it for 1-2 weeks TOPS.
Some teas work great (black tea, green tea, hibiscus/very berry, any form of ginger tea, chocolate orange, chai tea) others are digusting like chamomile blendz, white tea, and we tried a turmeric tea which was disgusting.
all in all i think this tea is a meme but it has low enough sugar, helps me reach my water drinking goals cause of the taste. Not sure if it helps my BMs or not.

>tastes like tea that's gone bad
>because it is literally tea that's gone bad
Why not just go to the nearest bog and drink a few handfuls of brackish water?
