I like Sizzler. The steak is awful but everything else is great. The salad bar can get messy because of families but it's nothing like Golden Corral-tier stories.

Yeah, I went last week. The staff was friendly and the salad bar is a LOT more diverse from what I remember from the 90s (The BEST decade) I got the Steak and Unlimited Crispy Shrimp Combo Platter which was absolutely fantastic. From U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh in-house every day, to seafood, fresh salads and soups – all prepared fresh in real kitchens – Sizzler is the place for great food and value.

Sizzler is nothing like Golden Corral. Though Sizzler is a casual dining experience, I think it's far superior to Golden Corral and has more class!

Their salad bar is fucking terrific, better than most any other salad bar I've eaten at except for the Brazilian steakhouse, but stay the fuck away from the "hot bar" part (where they have the soups, tacos, tendies, weird fried shit, etc), except for the guacamole on the taco bar, it's actually pretty good.
As far as their menu goes, it's not great, but they make a good burger, and their tritip steak is pretty good, as long as you order it no more than medium-rare. Those are the only things I order. Mainly, I just get the "unlimited " salad bar only, or a burger and salad bar.
