Amazingly, there is a movement or diet fad, whatever you want to call it, that advocates eating all meat and vegetables raw. Don't ask me for the justification but I've met people that follow it. Whenever I've asked for an explanation, my brain just turns off to the endless droning. When I've gone to non-sushi restaurants with them, they won't serve the meat raw of course but they generally accomodate on the vegetables.
