what are the best ck related smells?
for me it is beurre noisette, especially in baked goods. also babushkas pelmeni, probably just nostalgic and not that appealing to others though.

The tomato paste, garlic and onions I start in the pan for my burrito beans, oh so good.
Onion and garlic sizzling in the pan.
A close second is the smell of fresh baked bread. Not that unleavened pre-made garbage you buy at Krogers but made-from-scratch, fresh out the oven deliciousness.
I'm a simple man. The smell of garlic hitting hot oil is one of my favorites.

I agree, lavender is great in food, tea, and cologne/perfume.
Gonna have to agree on the garlic. Cooking Italian food in general is my favorite. It's comfy.
