I'm always really surprised how big of a deal people make it. I always hear people making comments when I go to the river, go hiking, or go anywhere that isn't fast food by myself. It used to bother me but I don't give a fuck anymore

it's not weird but you'd be wasting your time eating dinner alone at a full service restaurant. servers see a lone diner and immediately try to hustle you the fuck out of there so they can free up the table for a bigger party.
