I like to eat them.
I had an Icelandic friend who used to make these chocolate easter eggs filled with candies. They were as tall as his forearm was long and made with high quality dark chocolate with white chocolate decorations on them. Apparently it's tradition in Iceland to have easter eggs like that. I want to make one this year and am trying to find out how to make the mold. Any ideas?
I fucking love those things. Here's some ones that've been made by my relatives.

Are they empty or still filled with chicken mensies?

They're decades old and the yolk inside is like a little rattling ball inside

>how to make the mold
Nothing special, I usually just leave food out for a week or so and it turns green all by itself.
Or you could buy a mold from someplace online. You can get the plastic ones cheap, they're just a sheet of thick acetate that has been vacuum-formed. Or go for a silicone one if you're a patrician.

Not exactly eggs, but I like to make a creme fillings akin to cadbury eggs, and make big hollow heart chocolates filled with it
Looking to do them up real fancy for the in-laws this year

Buy chocolate eggs in bulk when they're lower priced.
