I think it is one of the top 5 pizza chains in the world.
It can't be that bad.

the promotional still looks like a decent pizza, even given that what they sell won't look as good, you can't really go wrong with a thin crust pizza with a nice char and not too much sauce

It's just cheese, oil, and tomatoes. With the occasional meat topping. It's pretty standard like most other macro pizza chains.

Sbarro gets ripped because the majority of stores exist behind the airport security checkpoint when you can hold people hostage and charge them $8 for a small slice.

It's the best slice in times square!
Nothing bad about Sbarros at all. It's great NY style pizza. Not sure how they survive in basically malls only without delivery. I remember their stand alone stores. I wish they'd bring them back as they could easily compete with Papa Sodiums.

I've had a few slices over the years (not by choice).....holy shit is their pizza greasy as fuck; just fucking gross

Haven't been one in about 10 years, but I loved their strombolis. Greasy goodness.
Sbarro is neither good or bad.
Pizza is really good food. I do not know of any "bad" pizza places.

>I do not know of any "bad" pizza places.
you're pretty sheltered, then. There's some absolutely atrocious pizza out there

it's actually great shit.
they mix the dough in store. they have a deck oven that sits at 650. they use halfway decent cheese.
what the fuck more do you want.

My university used to have one and it really wasn't that bad. It wasn't great, but I'd rather have it back than the Papa John's that moved in it's place. Since it's on-campus, they only make personal pizzas, and only a few types, like if you want anything that isn't pepperoni, cheese, or breadsticks, you're pretty much of luck. The Sbarro's had a regular full menu.
more like Sborro :DDD

Oh SNAP!
Bad?
It's really fucking good, pizza with some flavor on it beyond just tomato and cheese
Haven't had it for years, though, it's like $5 for a slice or something and there's always something that convinces me at the airport or food court or wherever I found myself conflicted over wether to buy Sbarro or not. Thinking about it, I think next time I'll just ask the manager for a whole pie to pick up whenever I go back to the hotel, just for nostalgia's sake

>"bad" pizza places
lol oh they exist
you're really overestimating how far cheese and sauce can take you. There definitely are places that sell cardboard dough and too sweet thyme heavy sauce with a complimentary drizzle of mozzarella flakes
