How does /ck/ feel about spam?
I like to eat it chopped up with rice, eggs and oyster sauce (fried rice basically). I also enjoy it with syrup.
Fried spam with a slice of cheddar topped with an over easy egg is my go-to comfort breakfast.
fried spam + white sticky rice + kimchi cant be beat
Bout once every 2/3 months is enough imo

I only eat it when I go camping. For some reason SPAM + camping+hammock is like my ultimate meditation zone.
I should go camping more.
Why do cooks insist on being called CHEF as if its supposed to be some sort of honorific like sir or lord. Motherfuckers dont even make six figures let alone good money lmfao

Dude it's just a tacti-cool joke apron. Could you imagine having to clean that if it was covered in food? It's a gag gift.

I prefer canned corned beef or the canned """ham""" you get in those big ass cans which is basically the same kind of product as spam but with more actual meat chunks.

Chef is just a way to distinguish a leader of a flock of cooks. The chef gets to breed so it's important

Standard camping food alongside bread and beans
Spam is a guilty pleasure. I don't eat it as a regular food item, but fried spam when camping and a few cans of it in the back of my cupboards just in case I blow my budget, nothin beats it.
Lots of different ways to eat it, too, and the philipinos/hawaiians have turned it into an art form. This is closely related to their poor health, but it's not bad for comfort food.
