There's a local brewery in my hometown that's experimenting with all sorts of interesting things every 2 weeks.

There's been standard tasting beers like a slightly vanilla stout.

There's been root beers that taste pretty damn good without being gimmicky at all

There was one beer called clown punch that was sort of like Shocktop but a different mix of citrus flavors. Fucking fantastic beer.

Generalizing independent places as bad is just as bad as saying all commercial beer is bad.

What'd you think of that Dogfish head Beer for Breakfast?

I thought the sheer number of adjuncts muddled the overall flavor and kind of made it overkill. I had a DfH chocolate lobster on tap around the time of pic related, and as crazy as that beer sounds, I thought it was actually better than the Beer for Breakfast.

Also: take that BCBS out of your fridge. That's not how you cellar a beer.
