I've made tamago gohan a couple times. I've tried it barebones (adding only soy sauce) and it was eh, edible.

If you REALLY want to spice that bitch up, add a couple drops of sesame oil, some mirin and roasted seaweed. AND MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING SUSHI RICE, all other gaijin rice is shamefur dispray.

I tried it once, I don't know if the rice wasnt hot enough or what but it just made it into this gross slimy mix.

Whitey here. Sure we do. Many of us have chickens in the backyard or the farm, and if we don't we can always buy them from someone who does.

As for rice and soy sauce, we can get those from Asian markets or we can mail-order them. Even my small town in central Texas has no less than three asian supermarkets.
