>not cooking with leeks
what's your excuse
>>8744469
leeks are one of those things i buy, use once and it just sits in my fridge until i throw it out.
I guess because it's a cross between onion and celery (and to an extent green onion), which I would use instead for most things. Although they do make a great soup.
(also, I didn't even know they were a vegetable until I played Oblivion)

great in stir-frys
I don't make anything that calls for leeks.

>celery
nigga what?
>>8744469
They keep getting away
>>8744502
leek greens are pretty mild. both sauteed are very similar.
I have no idea what to do with them other than to make soups and stock.
>>8744527
ill give that a try
I'm not risking the edge of my 1000 folds sandoku knife by cutting into the sandy bitches.
>>8744469
because spring onions outperform leeks in literally everything
>>8744586
just make sure you wash them after you slice them up, there is always some sand in between the layers
>>8744469
But I cook with them every week
