Brisket is tasty when done properly, but you have cook it ALL DAY as low as possible to get it there.
And I can't be fucking bothered with that.
I suppose I could throw it in a hotpan and leave it while I do stuff, but knowing my luck it would burn my house down.
Brisket is good, but it's not that good.

Steak is tasty when done properly, on a hot griddle covered in black pepper.
But doing so makes a mess everywhere with coronal fat ejections covering the entire kitchen in a fine mist of evaporated oils and fats, and is a complete chore to clean up.

Sausage is tasty when grilled to pale brown perfection. *
But one or more will inevitably spit fat all over the grill elements and produce a noxious cloud of superheated carbonised fat.
This will also remain for subsequent grillings and so must be cleaned asap.

Bacon is tasty.
It behaves in a docile manner when grilled *, curling up as if it is shy and doens't want your attention while dripping a tiny amount of fat into the grill pan.
Thus bacon is superior.

* No-one in thier right mind would ever stoop to such levels as to fry bacon or sausage. For this is heresy.
