It doesn't get hot enough. I ended up with grey steaks off that thing.
I'll use it as a sandwich press but that's it and even proper sandwich grills do the job better and are cheaper.

When the Teflon or whatever coating goes, so does it's usefulness
you can't use seasoning because it ruins Teflon
Other than that I don't mind them especially if you are in a small apartment or single and don't want a lot of dishes
Nothing is wrong with it at all. It's great for chicken and pork chops or seafood. I wouldn't recommend it for a steak.
