Get a really long pair, and now you have one blade for PB, one blade for jelly, and can cut the sandwich perfectly afterwards. Only one thing to clean, efficient.

This. I have always used a heavy chef's knife for pizza. I can't imagine using anything else. It's impossible to press down hard enough with a pizza cutter to actually cut through the average thick, dense pizza

Maybe you have tougher pizzas but my pizza cutter works surprisingly well.
With pizza o counter or table it's eas to get enough force to cut with just a couple roll back and forth.

This sounds so unnecessarily complicated just for the sake of saying "I only have to clean one thing"

Also you may have only one thing to clean, but it's bigger and harder to clean than two knives. Also also, what do you mean "one blade for PB and one for jelly"? Do you separate the blades to use them to spread? And then you re-join them to cut the sandwich and to be able to say you only clean one thing, even though it's easier to clean when its apart? Like... what the fuck? I'm slowly realizing this is the stupidest thing I've read here today, and I think it has to be bait, and I've fallen for it hard.

Anyway, you only need to use one knife for PB&J. Spread jelly first, because it cleans off the knife easier. Wipe the minor jelly remnants off on the other slice of bread before applying PB.
