According to Wikipedia it's slightly peppery and savory. Could probably be used in any number of things, but would probably be good in stews, savory pies, casseroles or even pasta dishes. Maybe a good white sauce additive too.

Several months ago I started buying only fairly traded chocolate, and now I've unintentionally become one of those guys who just can't stand Hershey's and Nestle garbage anymore. Butterfinger and stuff like that is ok because it's mostly other ingredients, but just a regular Hershey's bar is fucking nasty.
