You should. You have more control this way.

Try it out, you'll see the knife slips sideways more easily than when you hold the blade.

Looks ergonomic as fuck if it didn't look like someone just slapped some tar on and called it a handle. Interesting as fuck/10, would use at work with the handle wrapped in duct tape.

Look at how fat the heel is. It probably weighs as much as my 9" butcher's cleaver and slices about as well, which is not well at all. Maybe it could be fixed with a decent grind and an ergonomic wood handle pinned like a normal knife, but then it'd look a whole lot like all the other knives with an extended heel and lose the special snowflake appeal.
