I genuinely do not understand the appeal.

Because of a 1.4 second long advertising jingle saying no more than the name of the company that has been repeated online, on the radio and on tv more times than the sears air conditioning commercial.
I don't get it either but I do know people are really, really, really fucking stupid and Mike Judge's prophecy is not 400 years away, but 40 years away.

People are fucking stupid
Bottomless fries is a thing there correct? Didn't this board have a anon complaining about it.
>>8709429
Yeah, they give you fries in these shit little cups and are super slow to refill them.
>>8709443
this guy knows
yet every time I pass the local red robin it's full of people
i hate that place. there are always a million screaming out of control kids running around
Basically the reason why your extra fries take forever is once the dinner rush gets going, they have to give fries to meals that are going out instead of fry refills.
T. Worked at a Red Robin for a few months
>>8709487
Then they should give out normal portions of fries and drop the bullshit "endless fries" shtick. Fuck Red Robin. It's false advertising.
>>8709434
I can swear that theyre personally trained to ignore you so they can jew you off of the bottomless fries...
i just wanted a burger
>>8709281
Ok seriously,
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO RED ROBIN.
I remember 14-15 years ago, they'd give you plenty of fries, the burgers were juicy and good, they'd refill your drink regularly.
Now their burgers are stale, dry, and made very lazily, their fries are more stale and they barely give you any in that retarded metal ring or cup. It's all fucked.
My sister ate a burger there and threw up

corporate capitalism. stockholders demand an increase in revenue every year, which means cutting corners.
Only go there in desperation
Otherwise Culver's wins out

Yeah, you're right. Ever since it gained more popularity I've been seeing more and more of their franchises open up across the states, for obvious reasons. Still, miss how they used to be though.
The day I got my license, the first thing I did was drive over to Red Robin and get myself an A-1 peppercorn burger. That was 6 years ago, and these days, I still go in every so often when something in my life has gone terribly wrong and I just want to have my favorite burger.
For me, it is the A-1 peppercorn burger. The best chain burger.

It's fairly cheap and a decent place for families or poor college-age kids to go for a psuedo sit-down restaurant experience.
The food ain't the best, and it's certainly not a classy high-quality steakhouse, but it has its appeal to folk unwilling or unable to pay money out the ass for a decent burger and some time enjoyed with family and friends.
Worked in one for a few years
Ingredients are great.
Waitresses hate fries because cooks hate giving them out so they're yelled at on both sides.
The prime rib can go fuck itself.
>>8709434
that's a thicc patty
>>8712949
how hard is it to have a shitload of fries sitting around under a heat lamp?
>>8709434
those fries don't look good to begin with
>>8709569
Funniest thing ive read all day.
>>8713149
They go stale really fast. We make new fries and dump old ones every thirty minutes. The waste would be enormous if we did that
itt first world problemo
desu their fish and chips are amazing. their shakes are pretty gud too
>relatively cheap
>pretty tasty
>coupons all the time from their emails

It's not hard too see desu

Literally everything you described has to do with the specific employees at your location and not corporate. Why do customers at chain places act like every location is the same? I understand that's the idea behind chains, but a half second of thought should tell you that some people are better at their jobs than others so there's gonna be variance.
