red lentils are MUCH better tasting than green/brown lentils
I'm allergic to lentils, it's so weird. Does anybody know of this being an allergy? Am I just a weak faggot?

Yes you are. Now,get on your knees and suck my cock.
Also, dried lentils are better than canned and can be made in minutes.
it's hard to make cheap easy food that isn't a sodium bomb but:
poor-man's goulash
2 cups cooked rice or mashed potatoes
1 small portion of ground beef
1 can of condensed vegetable soup, no water added
spices (I like cayenne pepper, black pepper, and parsley for garnish)
1 cup frozen vegetables (optional)
1. cook rice or mashed potatoes and set aside
2. brown ground beef in a skillet, drain fat
3. add can of vegetable soup, spices, 1/2 cup of water, and optional vegetables
4. let mixture simmer until flavours mix and vegetables soften, then simmer to desired consistency
5. put rice or potatoes on plate, top with mixture.
makes 2 servings, $1 per serving. very hearty, very flavourful, has a shitton of calories.
