Call me a picky eater or a child if you want it, but the first time I took a bite of fish or seafood, I didn't like it, and it hasn't changed to this day.

The only thing I like eating that comes from the sea is salmon, cooked or smoked. Other fat fishes are ok in small quantities.

No idea why. My entire family, multiple generations above me, love fish.

My mother is a pretty good cook but she did make a few regularly rotated meals that I didn't like.

WHY?

The only thing I hated was frozen peas. They would get steamed, and my mom added butter and seasoning to dress them up, but they were always mushy. I still ate them, because I wasn't a faggot kid. Nowadays, I like to buy frozen peas to add them to meat pies during the winter.

Love my mom but just about everything she cooked was bad.
90% of the time it was a baked chicken breast with a different salad dressing brushed over it before cooking "for flavor". Ended up being totally overcooked, flavorless, and inedibly dry.
