It's a little closer to medium than I like, but that's personal preference. What seasoning did you use on the steak?
I use a simple blend of salt, pepper, and garlic powder for general seasoning. Montreal steak seasoning is better.
If you get bored of the basic bitch potatoes, grab some fingerling potatoes, slice them in half lengthwise, give them a drizzle of olive oil and a dusting of herbs de Provence, and roast them on a baking sheet for 30-45 minutes. They're easy as hell and rock the world of basic potatoes.
Thanks. Just salt and pepper, then threw a little butter and minced garlic in after I seared it. Been practicing cooking steak with a bunch of NY strips lately so this is the first time I've made a ribeye in a while.

Yea agreed, a bit too medium for me as well. I like my meat, rather it be fish, or whatever to be cooked a bit more thoroughly, but like the previous poster said, it's more personal taste.
You're just missing a side of greens, like string beans, edamame or broccoli. Your setup looks very well seasoned though.

Alright cool. So I seared it ~2 minutes per side, then held it with tongs and seared the fat a little all around. Added butter/garlic so it wouldn't burn, then baked for ~5 minutes at 450 F.
What would you do different? Should I not bake it at all?
Whaddya guys think of my masterpiece?

looks better than most of the shit that gets posted on this autistic af board. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll perfect your craft.
