many years ago I used to cut & cook those when I worked for Chilis. This is before they had a machine to cut them.

I just remember on Friday and Saturday nights after you would cook about 5 or 6 of them you literally needed to dump another couple gallons of oil in the fryer. They would suck up oil like you wouldn't believe.
