people either buy or are given the weirdest cookery books, never use them then eventually hand thm into charity shops.
strangest i have is "the high protein brewers handbook" containing meat based recipes for home brewing beers meads and ales.

the further into the sticks you go the more adventurous the stock of cookery books becomes due to the high " i'm not eating that foreign muck" attitude you get outside the city.

i've picked up books with recipes from all around the world, keeps dinners interesting.
