And for the record, >>8612940, you literally got this backwards. The tenderloins are inside the ribcage and are removed at field dressing. The backsraps are outside the rib cage and best removed after the deer has hung a few days.

But for all intents and purposes, hunters generally use tenderloin and backstrap interchangeably.
