What's the difference to cordon bleu?

It doesn't come with bacon, bitch. It comes with jamón ibérico.

You know, you can just call it Iberian ham. It's not really a proper noun, it's just the type of meat and its origin.
>>8597285
It's a DOC product so it is in a way like a proper noun, in a similar sense that a brand would be treated like a proper noun. Like you don't call Vega Sicilia Unico "Unique Sicilian Orchard" in English just because it triggers you to say Spanish things. That's kinda weird don't you think? Why are you so hellbent on getting people not to use the correct term?
>>8597395
I'm not hellbent on anything, I just find it silly. Like people who call blue cheese "bleu" cheese.
I'm a native Spanish speaker and hearing a native English speaker say things like "jamon iberico" is hilarious and a little embarrassing.
Also Vega Sicilia is an actual name brand, while there's several different brands and types of iberian ham.

>Like people who call blue cheese "bleu" cheese.
That is a terrible analogy because "bleu cheese" is not a PDO product. You should cringe at people saying "gorgonzola" instead, since there is more than one kind
>hearing a native English speaker say things like "jamon iberico" is hilarious and a little embarrassing.
"Jamon iberico" is the commonly accepted term.
You should be embarrassed about all the Engrish you put on your clothes, not foreigners using the correct words to refer to things
>Also Vega Sicilia is an actual name brand, while there's several different brands and types of iberian ham.
And there's several different kinds of greek retsinia wine but we don't go around calling it "resin wine" because "retsinia" is the recognized term...
>>8597467
Resinated wine is a recognized term. Retsina is greek resinated wine. Plus you don't call it "retsina krasi", do you? Then let's compromise and call it ibérico ham.

Fucking quads niggers
>Brits turned back on Europe so no longer understand the importance of DOC, PDO, PDI, etc..
