It's weird. I would have no issue sleeping and working in such a small area.

But for cooking I really do need space, especially counter top space. And that kitchen simply doesn't have it.

Yeah it's tough, doesn't help that I have it cluttered. I have a lot of storage so when it's clean I only have the knife block and toaster oven on the counter. Hide all my coffee gear, blender, food processor etc..

No carpet anywhere and the kitchen is small for the rest of the place, about 900sq ft apartment for one person. All new hardwood molding, landlord is turbo autist carpenter that essentially remodels and sterilizes the units after each tenant.
