How is your chocolate "homemade"? Are you mixing cocoa powder with coconut oil and calling it chocolate? Or doing it correctly by starting with chocolate liquor? Or even fermenting your own cacao pods?

I just made those chocolate cookies. With beet sugar and a little blackstrap molasses instead of expensive coconut sugar that really isn't any better. Eating the residual dough made me feel icky so I ate a small head of much better tasting romaine lettuce.

Cocoa powder doesn't have all the same flavors as chocolate liquor. Cocoa flavored coconut oil doesn't fit the FDA's definition of chocolate. It needs to be made with cocoa butter.
