I can't eat fruit. Help my /ck/. I start shaking and panicking at the thought of eating fruit Typing this is making me sweaty.
I have never eaten fresh fruit. I can handle citrus as an ingredient in things but not anything else.
I tried to eat an apple last month but instead of the automatic chewing response of pushing things to the back of my mouth for swallowing it all just moved forward. When I tried to forcibly swallow I just vomited for three hours until there was nothing but bile left.

Yeah golden delicious. General purpose cooking apples.
I don't know about deviled sausage, I've never had it. You can find tons of sweet-and-sour recipes with apples using google if you're into it. I used them in a rather complicated pork loin with orange juice recipe.
Slices sauted (with butter) and consumed with pancakes or crepes? Diced in a poundcake? Of course they'll be the main ingredient of an "apple pie", but you can custom what you want, can't you?
How about a sandwich with a strong cheese and thin slices of pear?
