Give me your beast marinades /ck/
Currently looking for a steak marinade but can't find any decent looking ones
salt water for that nice surf and turf taste
Desperately require a legitimate marinade to use cause I have to throw my steaks in as soon as possible

The best steak marinade is nothing. Salt and pepper, throw that bitch on, cook until medium rare, rub down with butter or garlic butter, and let it rest before you eat it.
Marinating is for cheap cuts. Expensive cuts used for steak cost more because the meat actually tastes good. If you want to marinade, get ribs next time.

Don't marinate. Steak only needs salt and pepper. If you have to put anything on it, go with chimichurri and that's for dipping/topping after it's cooked.
I'm a big fan of letting my meat soak in some plastic packaging.

I don't have a lot of money to spare so I'm not able to buy New Yorks or Poterhouses so all I've been able to really do are some bottom sirloins cause I still love having steaks but I just don't have the money to get the ones I'd like
If anyone had some marinades for chicken or fish I'm very welcome to those. I need to be cooking something other than red meat and I'd like to fill up a binder with different kinds of marinades
