I saw it in an episode of Bob's Burgers and got inspired to try it. Picked it up from Trader Joe's. Can be prepared like normal garlic, you can also marinate it in oil to infuse the oil.

Try this:
>1 green bell pepper, sliced
>1/4-1/2 onion, sliced into quarters
>whole grape or mini heirloom tomatoes
>two cloves black garlic, minced
Toss in a pan with olive oil over medium heat, cover and simmer until tomatoes burst. Serve over pasta with light salt and pepper. Add chicken if you like.
