Have you had your potassium today?
>>
I haven't eaten a banana since I was 5 when my babysitter tried to force one into my mouth
>>
What other sources of potassium are there but gelnanas? I had a charlie horse not too long ago, it was unpleasant but don't want to eat bananas every day.

Potassium can be found in a lot of shit. Almonds/pistachios and nuts in general, avacado, spinach, kale, greens, etc.

It just so happens that Bananas have the highest amount of potassium per volume than most other foods. They also have a high sugar content but that shouldn't matter as long as you exercise and have a generally healthy/whole foods diet.

I think most fruits and vegetables? You can try putting them into Cronometer to see what's supposedly in them, or just web search for their contents. A tablespoon of Plantation brand (specifying because it's more nutritious than others) can get you a fair ways there. It also has 200 milligrams of calcium, half the WHO's recommendation, and some iron too (which may be poorly absorbed because of the calcium). You shouldn't have more than a tablespoon or two each day, because it's still mostly sugar without fiber. I've read something like 90% of estadounidenses are deficient in potassium (and six other nutrients).

A medium-sized baked russet potato actually contains more than twice as much potassium as a banana. Potatoes are an underrated source of potassium and many other nutrients.

*Plantation brand blackstrap molasses
