So I am about to marinade these steaks tonight and I noticed that there are two spots on the fat part on the right side that have a tint of blue. Are these bad? Can I still eat these?
i don't see it
are you sure it's not ink from the inspection stamp?

Yes, spots like those are perfectly natural and harmless.
I'd rely more on if it smells off or is slimy. That blue part looks like a thin layer of fat stretched over the meat.

I'm not sure. It's at the top of the picture more on the left side (I took the picture in a different angle than I thought that's why I said it was on the right)
While I'm here, could someone share a good marinade recipe with me?

ITS POISON DON'T EAT IT
I've been doing more googling and I think it's probably the ink so is that still alright to eat or should I shave it off?
If anyone has a really good marinade recipe that they've used before I'd love to try it. Here's the one I was gonna try
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
Half a lemon
1/4 cup Worschetshire
2 cloves minced garlic
3 Tbsp dried basil
1 1/2 Tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp ground pepper
Bump for marinade

Was too lazy didn't find
It's probably fine as long as it doesn't smell rancid or something.
