I'm making my first sourdough starter using the pineapple juice method since about three years ago I did the same, and had some success but no consistency with it. I have two questions now:
1. What are some good recipes for a beginner using their own starter, and
2. How do I know when my starter is ready for use? I had a lot of trouble last time gauging the strength of my starter and ended up with severely unleavened bread.
