I've recently come in to ownership of a rather large amount of frozen fish (cod, haddock, whitefish etc)
What do I do with it? What are some good fish based recipes?
I pretty much only have fish in the form of battered fish and chips. I've been getting in to cooking recently with a lot of curries and stir fries and stuff, but I've not used fish.
Suggestions?

>battered fish and chips
what do you mean by that

as in, the fish was fried in batter, and served with chips

Sorry, i meant to say that I usually only ever eat battered fish.
The actual fish I have is just frozen slabs of haddock and stuff
I worded that wrong

try out the fish plain first just grilled nicely with butter and some lemon
it's not like you need to hurry with eating it
Yeah do fish cakes

Honestly I find the best use of any white fish is just toss it in the oven drizzled with olive oil and salt and pepper. It's simple, but you can't fuck it up, and it's nice to have simple meals sometimes. Also I don't like things that aren't fish to be fishy, and the fish you listed are all somewhat fishy fishes. I'm not big on fried food either...

Actually I understood perfectly well. It is your reading comprehension skills that are questionable. Did you also assume all his fish came with fries?

You do a lot of grilling in winter you literal retard?
>>8496788
I guess "Have" could mean either "possess" or "eat"

>winter
well fucking sorry my local climate doesn't restrict my outdoor cooking activities, you fucking ape
even then this day and age you can also grill indoors if you have the proper equipment

I live in northern Alberta and I grill 2 or 3 times a week in the winter. What kind of bitch doesn't grill just because it's -35 Celsius?
>>8496809
>oooh, mom, it's cold and I can't go outside and grill because my fingers might tingle.
>that's ok you special little dearheart snowflake, I'll make you some tendies with a nice cup of cocoa HFCS milk.

Find some lemon-infused olive oil for fish. It's fantastic.
