I don't have much experience with tuna (other than canned shit), but if it's similar to how to cook a lot of whitefish (I'm sure it's not) then I'd recommend some dill, salt, and vinegar as a marinade, then grill.
I marinade in soy sauce briefly then sear until the inside is just turning pink. Its super easy so just season it however you like but keep it pretty rare.
Sear all sides and serve, like a blue rare steak that actually tastes good.

I'm a fan of fresh cracked black pepper and sea salt crust with some sesame seeds then sear quickly on all sides keep it rare in the middle

Salt, pepper, and a nice sear. That's all a good tuna steak needs.

Actually if you had to eat raw meat from either land or the sea, the sea would be a lot safer when it comes to diseases and parasites. Not that either of them is perfectly safe or absolutely deadly.
I've worked with seafood in fine dining for years, tuna steaks are easy as fuck.
I like mine rare as fuck with some stir-fried rice.
>Salt and Blackening blend on both open faces of tuna steak
>Hot pan, sear each open face 15 seconds
>Rest, slice thin
>Drizzle a lime, soy, and brown sugar sauce over top
>Serve with stir-fry
