Why are sweet potatoes the most amazing tasting food to ever

I dunno man, but I love them. So cheap where I live. I always steam a few during the week

I love sweet potatoes, but I don't like them sweetened with sugar or other sweet stuff. My favorite way to eat a baked sweet potato is to add a little butter, salt, pepper, caramelized onions, and parmesan cheese. So fucking good.
