The "mother", aka the bacteria which create vinegar from alcohol.

There's probably also some of the original grain/fruit/whatever that the alcohol was originally made from. So there would be a little malted barley in malt vinegar, a little apple in apple cider vinegar, etc.

Dude, get that shit removed before something bad happens. I had a gallbladder riddled with stones for several years without doing anything about it (except home remedies), and then a stone got lodged in the bile duct and blocked my pancreas, which causes EXTREMELY PAINFUL AND DANGEROUS pancreatitis. I was in the hospital for 2 days, couldn't eat or drink, and only morphine could kill the pain. I got that shit removed ASAP, and there's been no problems since. You can die from pancreatitis, your body can go into shock. Don't go there, man, get that gallbladder OUT.
