It all tastes the same to me, unless it's flavored with something else. I don't even look at the brand when I buy it, which is maybe once a year.

I started buying Ken's ranch recently, the last bottle I got has a sweet almost melon-like taste. The bottle isn't expired and the ranch looks fine. Why does my ranch taste so funny?

Most taste different. Some are vinegar-y some are more dip like. This shit is the benchmark. I never refrigerate my ranch, come at me.
