I am going to make a bunch of chili this afternoon. What are some things you add that might be uncommon or I am missing.
Right now I am planning on
Beef
Beans
Onion
Corn
Tomatoes
Tomato paste
Rotel chiles and tomatoes
Garlic
Lime juice
Cumin
Chili powder
Chipotle powder
Coriander
Salt
I am sure I am forgetting something but that is off the top of my head.
Spaghetti noodles
Cacao powder

I'm sure you only forgot to add black pepper and cayenne
If you have a gas stovetop, try fire-roasting a poblano pepper until the skin is black, cool, chop and add in.
I always split the meat half ground chuck and half mild pork sausage, it adds new depth of flavor and more fat.
I usually make a sweet and spicy mango black bean chili - same ingredients mostly, but I only use black beans, skip the cumin and use bourbon smoked paprika, and add one chopped mango per pound of meat. It's really good chili.

No gas stove but I have used a blowtorch in the past. Anything else I can fire roast? Don't think I have a poblano in the fridge.
