What does american cheese taste like compared to normal cheese?

salty. yogurty. a hint of fresh cream but not much.

This is canned cheese. It's more or less a novelty and I've only ever see one person actually have it in their household, and they are it on crackers.
I've travelled all around the world and cheese in the US tastes just like cheese anywhere else.
It's just a salty processed cheese that easily melts. I like it on burgers and nothing else. I find it annoying how many people think that Americans only have access to American cheese and nothing else. There's stacks of good cheese at my grocery store.

These things still sell? I've seen it at the store once or twice but I thought they were a short lived novelty.

>be me
>8 years old
>mother buys Easy Cheese can
>"for grapes and crackers, you know, like as a snack"
>spray a little bit on crackers
>enjoy
>mother leaves room
>impale grape on spout and fill with cheese until it bursts
>eat sloppy pile of cheese and grape corpse from tip of spout
>repeat until we're out of grapes
>spray the rest of the cheese into my mouth
These are good products.
