How pleb am I for drinking instant coffee?

It's not for drinking. It's for flavoring desserts, pastries, sauces and meat. Drinking it is like drinking soy sauce out of the bottle.

My Dad loved Folgers Instant Coffee with Cream and Sugar. He trolled the shit outta my mom as he'd rather drink that than real fresh coffee.

It's not like it's bad for your health unless you're putting a ton of cream and sugar in. If that's how you roll then more power to you.

I love instant coffee. I also love good espresso. Just don't put sugar in it and you're good.

i actually prefer it over shitty regular coffee (like keurig or other preground beans)

proper brewed coffee is the best though

Instant coffee is not bad. It is not as good as fresh but when on long camping trips the instant stuff is a must.
