Here's a question for you all. Please be civilized, this is kinda delicated for some people, this is all for the good of the science!.
Why does the world does not eat rats?, i was thinking this while watching a gif of a guy preparing rats.
I mean, we all know that the mices have a high rate of reproduction (That means that you can get a good amount of food), and a short life (This means that the mices grown fast).
Maybe the only cons is that the mices are pretty vulnerable to diseases and at least for now, i do not know if their meat are worth and are nutritive or they're just like eating a sponge.
What's your opinion about this?
no one here gives a shit about eating rats. we would all do it if it was streamlined and sold in the same way other meats are. also, this is assuming they taste good.

I take 20-30 squirrels a year for eating and they're rodents. It's excellent meat.
Humans have no problem eating anything so I'm sure if farming rats was worth it we'd be doing it already
I'm gonna say that they've just been a symbol of disease for so long you'd have a hard time getting people to want it

Difficult to keep clean (free of diseases), difficult to keep in mass without them killing each other, probably don't actually taste all that great, meat-to-cost reason is probably really low.
