Hey guys, what about sharing some good recipes, tricks and stuff we do for breakfast, lunch or dinner ?
I'll start with something really simple.
I usually have lunch at work and I prepare something the day before.
Since I might not always have the time, I just do something with basmati rice that is quite good with any form of vegetables mix.
One really simple recipe is with canned tuna (or salmon) cooked with some oil and onions, and then adding the basmati rice with some parsley
I typed up a recipe and accidentally closed the reply box
Fuck it, this one is close enough

Personally, I Just never know what to do that's quick and for one person.
If I make every recipe I plan on, I end up with an ungodly amount of leftovers. Anybody have any advice? Or is this just a part of life?

most recipes are portioned for 4 people, just cut the portions in half
eat half and then eat the other half as leftovers later
make simple soups or meat + vegetable + starch dishes that you can do in 30m to an hour, you can do more ambitious things or things that take longer when you have extra time e.g. weekends like pasta bakes or pulled pork or roasts/ w/e

The only sensible course of action is to throw out the leftovers. That's way more than you want to eat after all.
