What do you think of eggs in burgers?
needs hash browns in it too to absorb the yolk
eggcelent
>>8428494
Delicious
>>8428498
That's what the bun is for. Regardless eggs on burgers is disgusting.
>>8428494
A disgusting meme that needs to end
I think it should be punishable by death. Egg's and burgers are not to be mixed.
It's under the federal statute, look it up
When done right it's God tier.
>>8428534
Then why was there an egg in BurgerTime?
>>8428559
that egg is ruining the burger mate
>>8428507
lol :D
>>8428507
well done sir, tip of the hat for you
If you've ever had a nice lean burger glued together by egg white with a perfectly soft yolk that flows into the cheese when you bite it you wouldn't think it was a meme. I fucked around with them for a while my technique was to press the burger into a crust shape in a one-egg pan, get that sizzling on high flame then break the egg into it, reduce to low flame and cover with a glass lid so I could observe the top and when it solidified, slap a fairly thick slice of cheese on there to cap it. I just got sick of all the saturated fats
>>8428494
Don't mind it but won't ever put egg to my own burgers or order burger with one
Ever see an egg develop into chicken eyes? Basically a chicken fetus.
Trust us (Chicken producers): eggs are nutritious, we're not biased.
>>8428494
I love egg on burgers, but I only have it at home, because it's just too messy to eat in public. Burgers are messy enough to eat, but I'm not going to make a spectacle of myself with yolk dripping everywhere. At home, it's another story, bring on the eggs!
>>8428534
Do you eat meatloaf? Or meatballs? That's ground beef and eggs mixed together (along with other ingredients). Eggs and beef go together perfectly. The problem is that (when it's done correctly) it's just too messy to eat in public.
>>8428590
No, what ruined that burger was the queso on it. They should have had just the egg or the queso, not both. That just makes it a mess.
It's a shitty meme but good for bulking.
>>8428494
Delicious, but messy. It's more practical if the yolk is hard, but isn't as good
>>8428741
That's exactly why you whisk an egg and mix it into your beef, which is what you do with both meatloaf and meatballs.
A fried egg on top of a hamburger is full retard.
Tastes ok. but it's too messy and makes the buns all soggy.
Does nobody just cook the eggs over medium at home for burgers? Runny yolk flavor but firm enough not to go everywhere.
But in public. Next to impossible to eat without looking like a grub.
>>8428494
I used to live on one meal a day in college. Bacon Cheeseburger with a fried egg & fries. Smoke some weed then 20 Miller High Life's. That was my mon-thurs diet.
>>8429111
No, you're full retard for thinking that it's a bad thing. I suppose you like the "Hank Hill" style, Bun-Meat-Bun and that's it.
meme addition because the egg taste is always overpowered
duck eggs might be a better choice
>>8429702
I've had a burger with a fried duck egg on it before, and it was definitely better than a chicken egg, flavor and texture wise.
>>8428494
They aren't bad but I actually like my burgers better without them so they definitely aren't worth the extra cost to add it. But if I'm going to a place with a specialty that has it I'll get it atleast the first time
They're like avocados in every other food
>>8429111
you're right, when i want steak and eggs i use a food processor to make a slurry, its delicious
>>8428494
Honestly ya it is good.
only had it at red robin
it was alright
>>8428507
ayyy lmao
>>8429838
I also had a decently sweet guacamole burger from Carl's jr but it was 20 bucks lol
>>8428568
>>8428568
Holy...
Time stopped when o read this post.
>>8429874
Do you put sausage on your burger too?
>>8428568
>>8428494
It's good.
>>8428568
What is burger time?
>>8429901
It's not sausage, it's a delicious dollop of tomato aioli
>>8429920
18 or older, champ.
the egg goes into the burger not on top ffs
>>8428494
If it's on the best burger ever the McChicken sandwich, Sure
>>8429111
>A fried egg on top of a hamburger is full retard.
And yet Loco Moco...
>>8428534
>egg's and
How can "and" belong to "egg"?
>>8428494
It doesn't actually add anything to it. I'd rather eat an egg and then a hamburger. they just don't complement each other, and the yolk is overpowered by the meat
>>8428568
Note that the egg is an enemy, along with the sausage. THEY ARE TRYING TO RUIN THE BURGER.
>>8429111
A burger isn't a meatloaf or a meatball.
>>8431154
Notice that you get more points for putting egg and delcious dollop of tomato aioli on burger.
>>8428507
>>8428507
This
>>8428494
Stupid hipster meme shit
I put eggs in literally everything. No reason not to.
Fried egg on a burger is god tier. Anyone who disagrees has female genitals.
>>8428559
>God tier because it looks different
Fucking nigger it tastes the exact same. If there is a difference it's marginal
>>8431186
But it tastes better w/out eggs
Top bun
Mayo or thousand island
Tomato
Onion
Lettuce
Bacon
Cheese
Patty
Lower bun
Literally why would I cover the creamy tangy mayo or thousand and salty juicy bacon and crispy veggies with slimy snot chicken smelling shit?
>>8431175
>stop liking what I don't like
>everything I don't like is a meme
Off yourself.
>>8431175
>stupid hipster meme shit
Restaurants have been doing this for years, I don't think that's either "hipster" or "meme". Get the fuck off my board, faggot.
I love eggs in burgers, they make the taste a million times better
>>8431200
It does nothing you faggot. Drizzle some hollandaise on your burgers if you want a wet shit sandwiche. At least you'll get some taste with your soggy shit burger, and not just mild slimy chicken snot.
Seriously, if you have to remove lettuce onion and tomatoes AND preferred dressing just so you can eat the most bland meme food ever it's your own choice. It's a meme.
I can't taste the egg. Seems like it's one of those "Super special hidden burger" memes that small pubs in big cities serve.
Definately not for me.
>>8428507
The real question what kind of drink you would have with the burger and egg. Beer? Cheap Whiskey? Tequila? Water?
>>8428494
in: no
on: yes
all day urr day
>>8431224
>"Super special hidden burger" memes that small pubs in big cities serve
They serve egg burgers at fucking Steak n Shake though. Called it a Royal iirc.
I like eggs on my burgers.
>>8431218
Learn some new adjectives you fucking faggot. Everything you don't like isn't a fucking meme. Stop getting so ass blasted everything you see someone enjoy something you dont.
>>8428494
It's too rich normally but amazing if you're drunk.
>>8429920
... okay.
Does anyone remember playing this?
I see 4chan-level autists constantly freaking out about it for no actual reason so it's obviously a good idea
>>8431154
They're putting sausages (well, hot dogs) into burgers now too.
>>8432499
That was that fucking nasty Carl's Jr burger from last sumner. Fucking disgusting, and the only time I've ever seen a place put a hot dog on a burger.
>>8428523
Meme meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme Meme
>>8428494
Can turn a good burger great. That being said I wouldn't order a burger w/ egg at a place before trying a regular burger first.
The creamy yolk is for a burger patty with a sharp flavor or a salty patty. Pickles must be on the side for egg burgers.
>>8428494
My favorite meme food.
>>8428494
I love it but it makes it harder to eat. I wish they made hamburger buns large enough to completely cover the hamburger so my hands don't get so gross after eating it.
>>8431199
Double Dubs of Truth
i had it on a ramen burger it was great
if you're going to meme you might as well go all out.
>>8434508
>Kimchi
>No noodles
>Ramen burger
A sandwich created by a Korean-American bought exclusively by white people that have never been to Asia
>>8434508
>No noodles
wut
>>8434557
>A sandwich created by a Korean-American bought exclusively by white people that have never been to Asia
I've been to Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand and I'm fairly certain no one eats a ramen burger there. Of course it's made for white people, it's an American novelty food.
>>8428494
Straight up kino. Not on every burger though. Just every once in a while.
>>8432222
>Why is that picture making people laugh?
>It's a meme, an inside joke. No content just undeservingly entertaining based on outside circumstances
>Why do people order eggs on their burgers
>It's a meme. Doesn't actually taste better or different. People started doing it and it became a fad so they kept doing it
It's a meme.
>>8434588
>kino

as with almost any nontraditional addition to a burger, it is not inherently bad, but just not as good as a traditional burger.
the burger is perfect. it has been refined over the course of a century to be a perfectly delicious food. there is a reason everyone knows what a burger is, how anyone could draw a burger from memory when asked. a beef patty that is well browned. pickles. square, shimmering cheese beginning to pool at its corners. ketchup. raw onions. a lightly browned, soft bun. the real world burger has converged with its platonic ideal over 100 years of collaborative development.
when you add extras to it - eggs, avocado, bacon, chilli sauce, goats cheese, rocket, caramelised mushrooms - you are implicitly acknowledging that you cannot compete with those who make it perfectly. you are making a different product because you don't know how to make the actual product it is based on. and that's ok. kitchens are complex institutions with many areas in which imprecision, or lack of specialisation, can be introduced. when you fail to meet the standards of purity imposed by such an iconic product, you will naturally want to diversify your efforts. you spread your net wide in the hope that you will catch the ignorant, curious or just plain perverse people who are in that moment seeking novelty over precision. there's room in this world for fatalistic gestures like that, and they can even be profitable. it's the people who try it and then come back for more who exhibit true degeneracy.
>>8434659
Oh well then thats even extra dumb, I assumed it was a rice pattie since thats actually a thing
>>8432466
I played it a bunch in the arcades back in the day, and emulated it once
>>8428494
it's fucking delicious
only fucking faggots say it's disgusting
>>8435767
>all that cursing
are you even old enough to post here?
>>8428494
I love a nice runny egg in my burger.
>>8435775
lol good one you fucking faggot
NOT
>>8434659
I was thinking the same.
>>8428494
I don't get the ranting and raving about it - here in Australia, you can pretty much guarantee that any burger with the lot at almost any pub or takeaway has beetroot, egg, slice of pineapple and cooked onions. Not a fan of all that stuff personally cause I like my burgers Yank style, it's not a new thing.
>>8428494
Its good but it needs to be done right because the yolk dominates the rest of the flavors and you cant taste what the fuck did you put in it besides the egg
>>8428507
>>8428494
not a fan. not a fan at all. love eggs, love burgers, hate eggs in burgers. too breakfasty.
>>8437399
Sounds good, except for the pineapple.
